Over the past few weeks ruma rua have been learning about the legend of the seven whales that make up the hills near Wairoa. They have explored using water colours by blending, dabbing to take away, layering with paint and adding finer detail using sharpie. Ka pai boys and girls!

ReplyDeleteKia Ora Room 2, 'Wow'! I like all the paintings of the whale. It's awesome! I think the ones with the black backgrounds should be improved, but other than that everything is great! Next time, try to draw the whales a little more nicely so it looks more like a whale. Bye for now! Mariam-New Windsor School School
